The Evil Dead has been one of my favorite movies for some time. In fact, I remember hearing stories about why I shouldn’t watch the original film in the franchise when I was younger and that made me want to watch them more. Continue reading “Always meet the Ash vs Evil Dead cast when possible”
Surpassing goals and taking names
I surpassed my goal on Goodreads last year. Granted, I barely thought I would read thirty books by the end of 2017, but somehow managed to read fifty-two. This still shocks me and has made me up my goal for this year to sixty books. Continue reading “Surpassing goals and taking names”
Love always lives within and radiates out
Sixty-two years. For some people that’s a lifetime in and of its own, but for others that number symbolizes the last anniversary they were able to spend with their spouse. That’s the kind of love that everyone in their life wants, but so few of us rarely achieve. Continue reading “Love always lives within and radiates out”
Resolutions do not have to begin on New Year’s Day
New year, new you. This is one of those cliches that tends to start popping up every year after Christmas. And stores of course capitalize on this. I went out yesterday to see if I could get some awesome Christmas cards for cheaper next year and discovered whole sections of stores devoted on exercise DVDS, yoga mats, and water bottles. Tequila infused blueberries
I finally tried the blueberry and pineapple margarita at Chili’s. I have to admit that out of all the margaritas I’ve tried this is by far one of my favorite ones. And this is not just because I love tequila, blueberries, and pineapple. Oh no sir. Continue reading “Tequila infused blueberries”

Restoring faith in humanity one Christmas movie at a time
Just like Christmas songs, there are also Christmas movies that must accompany the holiday season. Despite viewing most of these an insane amount of times, and most since childhood, I still have the desire to sit on my couch, with a blanket, maybe some coffee or hot chocolate and watch them every holiday season. Continue reading “Restoring faith in humanity one Christmas movie at a time”
My subconscious is making me paranoid
Why I keep having strange dreams I don’t know. Lucky to those following my blog I feel the need to share them. Though I’m still left tilting my head at the one I had last night, because I don’t think it had the happiest of outcomes. Continue reading “My subconscious is making me paranoid”
It’s not Christmas until I hear these songs
At work the past three days we’ve decided to listen to Christmas music. Today we have started listening to a Country Christmas station Amazon has provided. I immediately recognize Johnny Cash’s voice as Little Drummer Boy comes on and realize he is leaves out the pa rum pum pum pum’s. Continue reading “It’s not Christmas until I hear these songs”
