A Weird Dream Featuring Constantine

Let me start out by saying that by not taking my allergy pill for one day left me all sorts of exhausted. I mean it was ridiculous. I came home Monday and slept until almost eight in the evening. I meant to lay down for like a couple of minutes tops before my cat laid with me and we went to night night land together. This cat is normally close to me, and almost always sleeps in my bed, but this weekend especially she has been all about me, which makes me think my body is finally all, “You getting sick heffer…DEAL WITH IT.” I’m over here still very, “NOPE. NOT HAPPENING. DEUCES!”

More Writing Monday

I’m thinking every two weeks I’m going to start a new thing on my site. All my writings for other sites are now linked here for you guys to read. I am also thinking of making two new tabs so I can post my work there as well. Granted, people would need to check those tabs on more of a daily basis since an actual post would not go up, BUT it would at least get EVERYTHING I write out there and on three platforms. Of course that might be four platforms as I think I should embrace Instagram with some images too! I’m figuring it all out and apparently by talking to you guys. Kinda sorta. Ahem. Anywho, without further adieu enjoy the writing I have completed recently.

It’s been a crazy busy past few weeks, which I plan on writing about soon rather than later, but for now these are the links I can provide you with for the time being. Enjoy!

What is the last movie you saw in theaters?

I will admit two things before I go into the answer for the day.  I probably would not have seen this movie without Moviepass.  If it weren’t for going to three doctor’s appointments in one day, thus having the day off, I probably would not have the opportunity to go see this movie.  And a third reason I saw the film was a theater near me was FINALLY playing the film.  Continue reading “What is the last movie you saw in theaters?”

I’m still comfy on the big orange couch

Once upon a time, back in the nineties there were two popular programming blocks. One of them took place on Friday evenings, and the other on Saturday evenings. On Saturdays my friends and I sat in front of our television screens on a big comfy orange couch.  Continue reading “I’m still comfy on the big orange couch”

A trip down memory lane never hurt anyone

Over the years, I’ve known people who view nostalgia as living in the past. In fact, I was once told by one of my best friends that I needed to grow up instead of continuing on my journey with the power rangers. I remember that mainly because she wrote it in my yearbook and I read her words over again and laughed. My laughter came about namely because one of my goals this summer is to meet the original Red Ranger, Austin St. John. And if I’m being entirely honest I still watch episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers because as cheesy as they are they make me feel good when life is less than spectacular.  I even enjoyed the film that came out in 2017.  Power Rangers is a beautiful reboot of the original series.  Though I will admit viewing new actors in the same roles by the same name was certainly different within the series, but I enjoyed it all the same. My dad will go down with his ship

Back in 2003, when the Dawson’s Creek finale aired my family and I sat down to watch the finale episodes.  Most of the household was happy, until they killed off Jen the tears flowed freely from my mom and me. For a while my mom and I remained two against one and were Team Pacey.  Continue reading “My dad will go down with his ship”

Too many cop shows have me thinking about murderers and serial killers

I randomly found myself watching an old episode of Criminal Minds where a man’s daughter discovers that he was kidnapping and killing young boys since she was a little girl.  To make matters worse the “presents” that she received after his mood swings over the years were actually trophies from his victims.  Continue reading “Too many cop shows have me thinking about murderers and serial killers”
