What’s your favorite scary movie?

If I’m being honest that is not how the question/request for day four is worded.  The truth is I’ve seen Scream one too many times and I had to write the question that way.  It was a must.  With that said I’m oddly enough not writing about Scream today.  That comes later on, which is why I went with one of my other favorite horror films.  Continue reading “What’s your favorite scary movie?”

What is your favorite action/adventure movie?

Let me admit that for this category I actually went online to look at what movies I love that fall into the action/adventure category.  I will also admit that I almost listed Cold Mountain as my favorite movie for this category.  Why?  It was on one of the many lists I read to get come up with what my favorite action/adventure movie happened to be.  I just don’t consider that to be an action/adventure movie.  I consider it to be more of a drama. What is the last movie you watched?

There was a part of me that wanted to write most of this movie challenge in June to post in July.  The problem with doing so is knowing that day two (the last movie you watched) and day sixteen (the last movie you saw in theaters) would change about five thousand times.  I watch too many movies for the answers not to change.  This is thanks to MoviePass, various movie channels, and of course Netflix.  Continue reading “What is the last movie you watched?”

According to my dad he is turning thirty today

Sixty years ago today an incredible man was born on Friday the 13th.  My horror loving heart has adored this fact for about twenty-five years now. This, of course, is not the point. Instead I write about a milestone that my humble father does not believe is a true milestone in life. Instead of a big dinner, or party somewhere, I am writing about a man that has truly shown me what it means to always be there for someone and put others before themselves. Bon voyage

Alrighty folks! After tomorrow you will not hear, or rather read, anything from me for the next seven days. I know, I know it sounds like a bad call you receive from Samara. My horror people will understand that one. But anywho, in all seriousness, I will miss you guys as I unplug. I just wanted to remind you all how awesome you are before I leave for my trip and that I’ll miss you! Happy vibes for you all!!  And trust me when I say that since I did not to accomplish as much as I wanted to in May that will be changing once I get back.  I’m sorry, not really sorry, for all the posts in advance.

Another meaningful inappropriate talk with my dad

After deleting today’s brand new General Hospital, instead of pressing play like I thought I had, my dad and I decided to watch Total Bellas instead.  I’ve become oddly addicted to these behind the scene shows about wrestling figures.  Continue reading “Another meaningful inappropriate talk with my dad”

Green hair does care

Happiness is Joker green hair.

I have had green hair since March fifteenth.  That’s right.  Two days before St. Patrick’s Day I willing bleached my hair at the salon and my amazing stylist, Katie Hartig, helped me achieve straight green locks.  I was beyond excited for my green hair debut.  Of course I’m always excited when I go into the salon and know I’m coming out with a new look entirely.  This was not because I hated having blue hair.  I actually loved having blue hair.  I remember initially when I made my decision to dye my hair blue I felt sad.  For some reason I felt more uplifted when my hair was blue than I ever have in life.  I cannot explain why, Continue reading “Green hair does care”

The answer is five, but may be four

I normally don’t take the time to just post mainly pictures, but I cannot help but share my adorable puppy off.  Thankfully our outside time consisted of less sneezing today and more cuddle time.  Continue reading “The answer is five, but may be four”

Spring is attempting to kill me per usual

Every Spring I embrace a bottle of allergy medicine.  This year I have found the pollen is the worst it has ever been for me and considering that my allergies triggered my vertigo a couple of seasons ago, I have found myself changing allergy pills for this lovely Spring allergy season.  I try to get as ahead of the game as I can.The rest of the year I can go back to my measly 10mg antihistamine, but for now I am in need of my 180mg version.  This is a sad truth.  A sadder truth is that I do not even have to step outside to have what I have dubbed a sneeze attack.  I have them most mornings, though since I had to take my allergy pill at night this weekend I’ve had them at night when I get home. Perception often causes alternate realities

I typically attempt being the bigger person. We all have our moments though where that becomes impossible. There is always a breaking point. I’ve had a lot of thoughts on this matter of late. Continue reading “Perception often causes alternate realities”
